Meet Himal Nachiket, a native of Kullu, who completed his education from primary school through to graduation in his hometown. During his academic journey, he developed a profound interest in filmmaking, eventually directing a documentary titled 'Narkanda Tea Stall'—a poignant story centered around a young child. Driven by a strong desire to give back to society, he crossed paths with Mr. Nawang Dorje in 2012. Finding that their visions and values were perfectly aligned, they conducted extensive research together. This collaborative effort eventually led to the conceptualization and foundation of the 'Himalayan Saathi Foundation'."
"Meet Mr. Nawang Dorje, who completed his primary and secondary education in the remote Pangi region of Himachal Pradesh, later pursuing his graduation from Kullu. Driven by a deep-rooted passion to serve the Himalayan community, he began his career in the tourism sector, aiming to showcase the pristine beauty of the Himalayas to the world. However, he soon realized a critical challenge: while the people of regions like Pangi and Paddar sustain themselves through farming in the summer, the harsh winters leave them without any means of employment. To address this, he established 'Himalayan Markets' across various states in India, ensuring year-round livelihood opportunities for his people even during the winter months."
